Join Adelaide’s only hop-on hop-off Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills winery tour service and depart from the Adelaide CBD or get picked up in the region. A comfortable bus collects from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (Adelaide CBD) at mid-morning, then takes you out to the beautiful hills region surrounding the historic township of Hahndorf, to follow a looping circuit featuring 8-10 of the best wineries and venues in the area. Each circuit takes approximately 1-hour to complete, giving you plenty of time to sample that venue's offering. Along the way you are free to hop-on or off at any of 4 selected stops on the timetable (https://trailhopper.com.au/Adelaide-Hills-Info). Bus returns to the city in the late afternoon, disembarking at approximately 5:00pm.

Stop At: Stamford Plaza Adelaide, 150 North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia

Our comfortable bus collects from a convenient Adelaide CBD location in the morning (the Stamford Plaza Hotel), then once in the region we follow a recurring timetable circuit that takes 50-60 minutes to complete, in which time we visit all 10-15 of the selected venues. We follow this same timetable each and every hour until it’s time to return to the city in the late afternoon (approx 5pm).
Along the way you are free to hop on or off at any of the established stops, so that in a full day tour you are likely to see up to 4 wineries of your choosing, at your own pace, and independently from the other groups on the bus. This is how you tour your way.

Experience Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills as though you were driving yourself. Just 30-minutes up the freeway, Hahndorf and its surrounds feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of Adelaide city.

Had a great time on the tour, we stopped at Shaw + Smith, Lot 100, Petaluma and Sidewood Estate. Definitely try to make reservations for the wineries as they can get booked out and you won’t be able to do tastings. The bus was always on time at each stop and the driver was very helpful and cheerful. It was a great way to go to heaps of wineries of your choice without being locked in to a specific set of wineries.

On a beautiful Autumn day a visit to the Adelaide hills to visit places we haven’t been before was a great way to spend a Saturday.

This tour was extremely disappointing.. There was a total lack of communication.. Little or no response to emails, messages & phone calls..

A great, flexible way to visit the wineries on the Adelaide without worrying about being over the legal alcohol limit. The whole day went very smoothly and the bus was on time at every stop.

Our group loved the Trailhopper tour we were on. We did a trip around the Adelaide Hills and even though we are all originally from the Hills we still loved the experience. Our driver, Kyle, was so friendly and helpful and made the day so relaxed. The whole experience was so well organised by Trailhoppers and the communication they provided from the time we booked was amazing.

Trail hopper hop on hop off trip was definitely the highlight experience of our 1st Adelaide visit . Nate was a great company and guide , definitely made the trip more enjoyable and because our number was manageable we had a more personalised kind of experience. Would definitely come do another trip with the guys to Barossa and MV .

We went as two couples on Easter Sunday and was so so happy with how it went! Had a great day and our tour guide Nathan was amazing and very knowledgeable! It was Easter and with covid you do need to be organised with your bookings and time management but the schedule worked really well. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Favourite part was all of it - loved being able to pick where we wanted to go in advance. Our tour guide Monique was knowledgeable and fun. Although it rained, it was the perfect day for wine and antipasto.

Went on this trip in January 2020, got picked up in the middle of the city, which was easy the Host was great had heaps of information to tell us. You get a choice of where you want to go & how long you want to stay & they are always on time & all the wines tasted were lovely. For $70 per person was great value. Everything was easy. Highly recommended.
