We highly recommend Greig He is the most knowledgeable, professional, patient driver we have ever used. His service was excellent value for money & his cars were immaculately clean & he was a very safe driver. Not only does he have a good knowledge of every wine region in the area but he also has an exceptional knowledge of the wineries too. We thought we had created a good itinerary however after speaking to Greig & advising him of our wine preferences, he made some suggestions of wineries that we had not heard of & we went with his recommendations. We believe that changing our itinerary & going with Greig’s recommendations took our wines tour experience from good to exceptional. We found his service so good that we actually hired Greig for 3 days - a day in Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale & Barossa Valley. We have not stopped talking about our winery tours Thank you Greig, you made our 3 days amazing. We will definitely book with you again on our next visit to SA.

Greig and Vesna are wonderful gracious hosts. The wineries we visited were perfectly curated to give us a great overview of the region. Greig also has a wealth of knowledge which made the trip very interesting. We were lucky to also be with a group of fun people - very enjoyable. Thank you!

The personlisation of the entire tour provided us with the opportunity to see the wineries that we wanted to experience as well as incorporate wineries that we had not considered. Greig was so knowledgeable that he gave us a new insight into the wines of McLaren Vale. As well as this his adaptability in tailoring the tour to our requirements was immeasurable and it is with absolutely no hesitation that I would recommend this company and was as Greig.

Fantastic day with Greig from CP Tours for four friends in their 60s. He was friendly, and very informative about the history of the area and about wines. Excellent choice of four wineries and a delicious lunch at a pub. Thank you.

... and the gold is in the award winning wines available to taste! We booked with Greig direct to get our Seniors Discount Price not offered by some booking sites. We left the agenda up to him as it was Anzac Day and some wineries weren't open. We started off at Penfold's McGill Estate for a 10.30 tasting. The 5 red wine drinkers in our party of 6 preferred the 3 reds on offer. We agreed that the Bin 389 Cab Shiraz was the best value drinking as it was one we all knew quite well and can afford. The tasting room featured a heritage showcase of the first 6 wines produced from 1951 on. They would be worth a lot of money these days! We stepped outside and walked around the original buildings that date back to the mid 1800s. It's amazing that there is still a vineyard this close to the CBD. The next stop was the Artwine Vineyard in Woodside. Artwine has some standout and trophy winning whites with cute names. The tasting room is well designed, well constructed with great views and excellent rest rooms!! We enjoyed our time there, hosted by one of the owners. Needless to say we all bought something from her. To keep me happy she gave me 10% off, free shipping back to Sydney and a free 13th bottle of my choosing! Time for lunch at the Woodside Hotel. The pub had a great vibe going as we walked in through the beer garden. A guitar and harmonica duo was playing some great old Blues tunes to the drinkers outside. Greig paid for our lunches as that's part of the tour deal and we all had plenty to eat and drink. The 3rd and final winery for the day was Napanthe Wines. It's located in Balhannah, a decent size estate with lovely views from the tasting room. We tasted 6 of the 7 wines on offer and were all in agreement that we liked every second one! That's the way it goes in the winery game. To finish off the tour Greig took us into lovely Hahndorf so we could walk the main street. We also a round of teas and coffees with optional scones, jam and cream at the busy Haus Restaurant. All in all we had a very enjoyable day. We tasted as much wine as we wanted to as a group. We enjoyed the scenery of the Adelaide Hills, Greig's friendly manner and the depth of local knowledge that he passed on to us. Well worth it.

We had a wonderful day in the Adelaide Hills with a good variety of wine tastings and a great lunch. Greig was knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and efficient. His VW van was very well appointed and comfortable. Would definitely recommend CP Tours to anyone looking for a great winery day.

Stop searching for other guides, book Greig now! This tour was amazing from pick up to drop off. First when he picked us up, he spent time getting to know us and our tastes to make sure we’d enjoy the day. On the way he gave us information about the history of the area, grapes and the families involved. At our first tasting it became clear Greig has taken the time to visit each winery and built relationships with the hosts and winemakers. We had a wonderful day, at our own pace in a private car. We’ve already re-booked him for two weeks time. For a premium experience at a fair price, look no further and book Greig. Seriously, stop reading and book!
