A very enjoyable day out in Adelaide Hills and Harhndorf. The tour guide was great and very informative. Lunch was delicious. The only downside was that the two wineries we went to didn't really have any options for those with a sweeter palate (although that may just be because of what grows in the climate of the area).

The stop at Hahndorf was really good. Lots to see and do and good food to eat.
Also, our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.
However, I had wanted to enquire about upgrading my lunch order from the set menu but was told 'no'.
The main disappointment for us was not going to Mount Lofty to see the view. We had been promised this on the way home but, because our last winery was slow in serving us, we were running 10 minutes late and our guide said that meant we could not go. We have been on two other bus tours during our stay and neither was so regimented about time. So, we finished the day with a disappointment which was unpleasant.

Sampling the delicious wines, cheeses and chocolate. The lunch at The German Arms Hotel of the Wurst Sausages, Sauerkraut and Mash Potatoe was filling and tasty. Our tour guide, Vince was a wealth of knowledge of the area of Hahndorf which is a very charming town with a variety of shops and food for all.

Our tour guide was born and bred in South Australia. He was friendly and alot of fun!! His knowledge of Adelaide was great and we were very comfortable with all the places he took us and the experiences he showed and took us to!

Loved this day-tour to Adelaide hills & Hahndorf. Danny C is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. All the information about the city, history and heritage that he gave throughout the trip was amazing. Unfortunately the cheese factory was closed for some reason, otherwise all other attractions were very well covered. There was ample time to explore, and being a small crowd minor adjustments were also made to suit the group.
I was impressed with the level of preparedness - there was a fridge in the bus to store all the chocolates & pastries that the group would buy throughout the day. Danny was extremely accommodating and happily dropped me at the airport upon request. Overall it was a great day-trip and I highly recommend it - best way to enjoy multiple rounds of wine tasting with family & friends without having to worry about driving afterwards!
